The Powder Coated Carbon Steel DSV is a flanged duct section which contains both straightening vanes for profiling turbulent air, as well as an array of flow measurement pitots. The DSV offers a similar accuracy as the VAP Pitot with the added benefit of being extremely easy to install. The round Carbon Steel DSV is specifically designed for installation within round ducts where temperatures do not exceed 400 degrees F and can be equipped with either Anodized Aluminum pitots or Stainless Steel pitots. The result, when coupled with any DP or Multivariable Transmitter, is a very accurate Differential Pressure based flow measurement.
